Situated in the east of Melbourne, Knox is home to more than 1,54,000 people. Knox is at a distance of
25 kilometres from Melbourne CBD and about 35 minutes drive from the City Centre. Bound by the
City of Maroondah to the north and the City of Casey to the south, Knox has Cities of Monash and
Greater Dandenong towards the western side.

GRP is $8,435.587 million. Knox contributes 3% to the GRP of Melbourne. The total exports valued at
$8,494.486 million is more than the total imports.
Plenty of bus routes and train stations run by the Metro Melbourne service the area. Lysterfield Park,
Caribbean Gardens and other nature reserves add to the recreation quotient of Knox. Gilbert reserve
and Knox Athletics Track are famous highlights of the area. With 27 primary and 8 secondary schools
and more than 200 playgrounds, Knox is an ideal place for all age groups.
